Okay, the game weekend is officially over. Actually it has been over since agent OH left the premises about 14:00 yesterday. So it is time to take toll of the weekend and related casualties.
Games played (on a very approximate order of first play):
- Jenga
- Bang!
- Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on PS2 with 5 controllers (gotta get the new version soon, ditto controller n:o 6)
- Texas Hold'em Poker (with actual chips and cards)
- Chinese Poker
- Wii Tennis
- Other Wario Ware multiplayer games on Wii
Out
of all the games, Guitar Hero III was played the most (by far).

The best wakeup ever: Guitar Hero III and luke warm beer.
So okay, this is alt+games, why do we play Guitar Hero III here, because that's not so alternative, hmmh? Well, it is at least for me. To see that 'simple' games like Guitar Hero are a bit extreme. At least I thought that I wouldn't be impressed by some plastic guitar replica, but how wrong was I? Very. It's easy to see how this game become a top seller: It's just bloody fun.
So the gaming weekend continues, no big plans, probably today we visit a public house or two, discuss a bit of the direction alt+games should take, and generally play games. This absolutely the mostest bestest time, and we probably write short notes here as things happen. I think Antti has some surprises still in store for the rest of us.

There are lots of people in my flat right now. They are playing Galaxy Trucker and Guitar Hero III on Wii right now.
And I know exactly why they are here. They are here because I invited them. We're having the second game weekend (tm) of all time. A lot of people who I wouldn't have figured out to be here are here. And it is fine. It is more than fine. It is fabulous. Out of fables.
I mean, this is really great. My friends here because of the activities I proposed. And for you (potential) people in the central europe, the travel times have been excessive. They don't care. they just want to spend their time with each other (and me). So, kudos for them.
